OK, big hype coming from this movie, especially the fans from the hit animated series on nickelodeon.
But the basic fact is, is that this movie was an utter disappointment. The great CG and cool martial arts movies distract viewers from the sometimes ameature camera shots and ridiculous akward acting moments. Coming from the cartoon, this movie just went by much much too quickly, altough a 108 min. feature film, this will have you bored more than half the way.

The actors have been turned from Asian, to White, and Aang's name is not how its pronounced on the cartoon, neither is Sokka's. Long time director M. Night Shamalong (forgive me if misspelled) came up with the redundant idea to use the Chinese pronunciations, so its now Aang with a long A. Yes, there is plenty to rant of this movie yet, and really I would've rather seen Toy Story 3, nothing but good news from that.
